    This is for the November 2025 Cohort. This position is posted as a hierarchy at the Financial Analyst II or Senior Financial Analyst level. Successful candidate(s) will be hired at the level that is commensurate with their skills and experience

    Position Summary

    This position entails completing four, six-month rotations across multiple departments within the CFO Organization to provide career growth through development of professional skills, knowledge, and abilities. Participants may rotate through Business Area Finance (BAF), Corporate Accounting, Corporate Finance - CFM, Operating Company Finance – Revenue Requirements, Transmission Accounting, Treasury, or Audit & Risk.

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Collect and analyze financial data to perform some or all of the following accounting or finance processes: budget development, variance reporting, preparation of internal and external reporting packages, participate in and support accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close cycles, reconcile assigned accounts, prepare accounting ledger entries, settle inter-company receivables and payables, and prepare property valuation.

    + Provide financial analysis and support to management for the annual budget process, as well as modeling, analysis and financial support for current year and five-year forecasting.

    + Document key processes of areas assigned to ensure consistency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide proactive process improvement recommendations and assist in implementing solutions.

    + Assist and/or prepare rate case information as required to support submission. Assist in performing regulatory support for requests or associated schedules.

    + Participate in and support special projects as assigned.

    + May provide work direction and training to other analysts.

    Accounting/Financial Analyst II Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

    + CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.

    + Minimum 2 years’ experience in general financial accounting or analysis.

    + Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications required.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply GAAP principles, skills in analysis, problem solving, customer service, and relationship building desired.

    Senior Accounting/Financial Analyst Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business degree or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

    + Minimum of 4 years' experience in general financial accounting or analysis. **Note:** Candidates with a Master's Degree or certification such as CPA, CMA, CFA, etc. or investment banking or public accounting background may be granted years of experience to reach the 4-year minimum.

    + Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications required.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

    + Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply GAAP principles, knowledge of business and legal principles, skills in analysis, problem solving, customer service, and relationship building desired.

    + Knowledge of and experience working with SAP highly desirable.

    Preferred:

    + Individuals currently within the CFO organization

    The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $62,500.00 to $102,100.00 per year
