The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a key role in warehouse operations by overseeing the receipt and shipment of goods. This position ensures that all incoming and outgoing deliveries are handled accurately, efficiently, and safely. Responsibilities include inspecting shipments, verifying documentation, recording inventory, and coordinating with internal departments and carriers. The coordinator also supports inventory control, maintains organized storage areas, and upholds safety standards.
Essential Functions:

+ Unload and inspect incoming shipments, check materials for damage or discrepancies.
+ Match deliveries to purchase orders and record items in the ERP system.
+ Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders according to schedule.
+ Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal teams to resolve issues or delays.
Label, tag, and organize products for easy identification and retrieval.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts.
+ Ensure cleanliness and organization of shipping/receiving areas.
+ Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Competencies:
+ Proficiency with ERP/inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
+ Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in documentation.
+ Basic computer literacy and communication skills.
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
+ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
+ Required: 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or receiving role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
+ Preferred: Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse, or retail environment.
+ 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management.
