    CVOR RN | Travel Contract | October Start – Palo Alto

     

    Start Date: October 2025 | 13-Week Contract

     

    We’re seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Palo Alto, California . This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical team in a world-class facility.

    Position Highlights

    + Location: Palo Alto, CA

    + Setting: Hospital – Cardiovascular Operating Room

    + Start Window: October 2025

    + Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension

    + Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)

    + Shift: Days with rotating start times (6:30 AM, 8:45 AM, or 10:45 AM)

    Required Qualifications

    + Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility )

    + CA RN License

    + 3+ years of CVOR RN experience

    + Ability to scrub cardiac surgery is a plus (not required)

    + Certifications:

    + BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association)

    + Experience:

    + EPIC EMR proficiency

    + Previous travel RN experience

    Additional Compliance Requirements

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site

    + Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

    + Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required

    + Computer proficiency required

    What You’ll Do:

    Provide expert nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room, assisting with complex cardiac surgeries. Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
