    We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Operations Manager to join our Team in Raritan, NJ.

     

    Our Raritan, NJ Cell Therapy facility is scaling up operational flows to serve more patients and meet the highest quality standards without compromising manufacturing efficiency. The Senior Manager is responsible for leading and driving long-term strategy and regulatory compliance, while striving for world-class excellence and performance. This role will also maintain excellent communication with business partners to manage expectations effectively and will help build the organization in alignment with operational ramp-up.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations for a personalized cell therapy, supporting both clinical and commercial requirements.

    + Build and maintain an environment of innovative continuous improvement, focusing on quality, value creation, performance management, and capacity.

    + Lead managers and operations personnel working in the Value Stream, including hiring and developing people at all levels to grow within and beyond their current roles.

    + Partner effectively with all functions including Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Operations Support to ensure seamless execution of planned activities.

    + Develop, coordinate, and drive a vision for operations; be passionate about continuously improving performance, technology utilization, and cost competitiveness.

    + Accountable for and foster a culture of regulatory compliance and strong environmental, health, and safety performance.

    + Coach, mentor, and provide development opportunities for all employees in the manufacturing function, building highly capable teams, and developing skills and expertise.

    Education:

    + Minimum of a Bachelor’s /University degree is required; advanced degree or focused degree in Science or Engineering is preferred

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    + Minimum eight (8) years of relevant professional work experience

    + Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) production environment

    + Experience leading teams, developing talent, and championing diversity and inclusion

    + Resilience to address challenges, changes, and unexpected setbacks in a positive way

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively influence in all directions

    + Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, thriving in a fast paced work environment

    Preferred:

    + Experience working in a sterile biological/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

    + Knowledge of Lean Methodologies, preferably certified Green or Black Belt

    + Experience with electronic batch records and/or ERP systems

    Other:

    + May require up to 10% domestic or international travel

    + This role is expected to be on site 5 days per week.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    $120.000 to $207,000

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
