Responsibilities + Design, build, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure. + Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation. + Administer cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPCs (AWS); and VMs, VNets, Storage, Azure AD, and App Services (Azure). + Automate system deployment, configuration, patching, and monitoring using Ansible, SSM, Azure Automation, etc. + Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics. + Manage identity and access controls, enforce security best practices, and remediate vulnerabilities. + Support application teams with cloud infrastructure needs including networking, performance tuning, and CI/CD integration. + Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for critical cloud infrastructure issues. + Collaborate with DevOps, InfoSec, and AppDev teams to deliver cloud-native and hybrid solutions. + Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure). + Proven experience managing EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, etc. in AWS. + Strong expertise with Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, VNets, RBAC, Azure AD, and related services. + Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform or Bicep for IaC. + Experience in designing, implementing, and managing automation solutions using Ansible. + Hands-on knowledge of Linux administration in cloud environments. + Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. + Working knowledge of cloud security (e.g., IAM, Defender for Cloud, GuardDuty). + Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containers (EKS, AKS), and DevOps practices. + Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, ScienceLogic1). + Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, subnets, firewalls, load balancers). Qualifications + Must have extensive experience in the coordination of program and project leaders to identify requirements for system architecture. + Must be able to identify strategies for addressing requirements. + Must have extensive experience with analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues. + Has extensive experience in taking program requirements and is able to create an architecture vision having experience in high volume and high availability networks and systems. + Experience in creating and conveying to team members the architectural vision for a program or project. + Is responsible for dictating design choices to software developers, including but not limited to: platforms, coding and technical levels. + Experience in establishing and enforcing standards and practices. + Experience in overseeing the development team, they manages the full life cycle of the software development process. + Has extensive software development experience and thorough knowledge of a variety of programming languages and logic. + Must be able to function as a A Senior Cloud Administrator with deep hands-on experience in AWS and Azure to lead the design, implementation, automation, and administration of cloud-based infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud platforms while supporting agile DevOps teams and enterprise workloads. Preferred Qualifications + Certifications (highly preferred): AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or higher and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator - Associate or higher. + Experience with hybrid cloud or cloud migration projects. + Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow. + Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA). + Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. + Excellent communication and documentation skills. + Self-starter with ability to work independently and mentor junior team members. + Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams. Education: + Master’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or related technical discipline and 10+ years’ work experience. + Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 years total). Clearance: + The ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation.
