Position Summary
Responsibilities include assistance with coordination, development and execution of Graduate, Online and undergraduate recruitment activities.

Major Responsibilities
+ Processes and reviews applications. Makes decision for acceptance or denial to the University based on program specifications
+ Recruitment: includes travel, telecounseling, interviews, follow-up contacts, attending recruitment fairs, high school and community college visits, coordinating and developing on and off campus programs, conducting Saturday information sessions and participating in other promotional events as required.
+ Engages prospective students via email, text and telecommunications, providing follow-up contact to prospective students to answer program specific or general admissions questions.
+ Travels locally and long-distance for recruitment activities: College Fairs, Career Fairs, Recruitment Events, off campus receptions, etc.
+ Conducts interviews for prospective students on and off campus.
+ Coordinates area receptions for recruitment purposes
+ Participates in campus visit programs and engages relevant faculty to enhance visit experiences for prospective students.
+ Assists with projects including participating in promotional events, territory management, social media campaigns and marketing collateral.
+ Assists with components of open house and other promotional events. May be responsible for special assignments.
+ Assists with daily administrative operations.
+ Takes an active role in the development of the department’s strategic and operational plans as required by department leadership. Works closely with department supervisor to develop and implement operational goals that support departmental success.
+ Responsible for working with supervisor and other team members to achieve successful results on all established individual and departmental goals and key performance indicators.
Driving Responsibilities
This position requires travel. Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record (as defined by University insurance carrier guidelines).

Education & Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum two years experience in Admissions and/or Recruitment required
Minimum Skills/Abilities
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Requires organizational skills and good judgment.
+ Ability to be confidential.
+ Ability to work evenings, weekends as well as reasonable travel when necessary.
+ Valid driver’s license required at time of employment.
+ Possess technical skills in developing presentations and reports
+ Knowledge of Banner and/or Slate or another student information system is preferred.
