**Shift** : Day Mon-Fri 8a-5p

**The community you'll be caring for:** AdventHealth Redmond
**The role you'll contribute:** Responsible for fostering a collaborative learning relationship with nurses to build depth of practice from advanced beginner levels to expert clinicians. This position promotes self-direction, critical thinking, critical reflection, and lifelong learning to adapt quickly to changing clinical environments and escalating patient care needs. This role uses a student-centered approach built on trust and respect to transform skill and knowledge into clinical growth. In addition, this position involves working alongside nurses in clinical areas to teach direct patient skills and link theory with practice. Additionally, this role is actively involved in the professional development of nursing staff, including identifying and developing strategies for continuous learning and skill mastery. Responsibilities for this role include collaborating with unit leadership, educators, and physicians to expand nursing staff's skills, theory, and practice to support complex patient needs.

Qualifications
The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:
+ Bachelor's of Nursing Required
+ 3 Years of clinical experience in OR unit Required
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
+ Master's of Nursing Preferred
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Preferred or
+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) Preferred or
+ Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) Preferred
+ Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
+ Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Preferred
+ Nursing Professional Develop Cert (NPD-BC) Preferred
