    The Role

     

    We are seeking a Director of Human Resources with responsib ility for developing and implementing people-centered policies and practices to support a culture of care. This role oversees recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, professional development, compliance, risk management, and workplace culture, driving initiatives critical to the function's success to ensure long-term sustainability and alignment of HR practices with EOCF's mission, values, and goals.

     

    As a trusted advisor to the COO and leadership teams , you'll help shape a positive, high-performing culture that aligns with our mission.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Champion a culture of care, accountability, and belonging.

    + Oversee the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance, and retention.

    + Manage compensation, benefits, and total rewards, ensuring competitiveness and fairness .

    + Ensure compliance with all employment laws and early learning regulations (Head Start, ECEAP, etc.).

    + Leverage HRIS systems and workforce analytics to drive data-informed decisions.

    + Mentor and lead a high-performing HR team.

     

    What We're Looking For

     

    + Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

    + Skilled in compensation and benefits strategy.

    + Proficiency in HRIS and people analytics.

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

    + SHRM or HRCI certification a plus.

In compliance with the Equal Pay & Opportunities Act, the full annual salary range for this position is $ 82, 056 - $11 4 ,87 8 .
