    PRIMARY FUNCTION:

    Under general supervision, oversees security for the Westlake Village Headquarters and directly supports Human Resources (HR) needs and concerns. Additionally, train and oversee the tactical responsibilities and safety protocols for the role of the Reception. Ensure security protocols are comprehensive and employees are trained in crisis management. Assist HR team with emergency drills and safety training necessary to keep the staff safe and the facility secure. Maintain daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service to staff. Operation of the security system including monitoring cameras, providing staff credentials, supporting visitors and assisting with incident investigation required. Ensure building access system is always operational. In the event of a problem, notify management as quickly as possible to ensure security at the site.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Monitor campus daily activities to ensure facility and staff are safe as well as the operational integrity of the structure.

    + Operate Security System in support of Facilities, HR and Safety.

    + Generate Incident reports for all safety incidents at the site and submit to FM.

    + Generate staff badges as well as maintain management-of-change of employee database.

    + Monitor temperature in the Server Room and report anomalies immediately to FM.

    + Conduct periodic visual checks throughout facility via regular patrols daily.

    + Leverage CCTV to monitor all facility operations visually including fountain operations, roof conditions, loss prevention and perimeter safety of the facility.

    + Develop updated security protocol for the Reception position and train resource in those protocols.

    + Assist FM with daily requirements of the facility and daily operations.

    + Ensure all visitors at the site are properly received and escorted by the sponsors. This will entail partnering with Reception depending on access point by visitors.

    + Ensure all safety and emergency equipment is in proper working order.

    + 25 hours per week.

    + This is a temporary position.
