The Department of Asian and Asian American Studies in the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University (SUNY) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Korea/Diaspora Studies at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in scholars who explore media forms and representation - such as literature, film, food, music, and digital communication - in relation to social, political, and economic change: migration, race, and gender formation. Also welcome is experience in the digital humanities and community engagement, which align with department and campus initiatives. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in language(s) relevant to their research.
