Job Summary and Qualifications
General Statement of Duties:
The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and project management support. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative functions, assisting with project planning and execution, and ensuring efficient communication and workflow across strategic initiatives. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting organizational goals through proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
2. Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using project management tools.
3. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, status reports, and task lists.
4. Coordinate meetings, schedule project check-ins, and ensure follow-up on action items.
5. Support cross-functional collaboration by facilitating communication between departments and stakeholders.
6. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and associated teams.
7. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
8. Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and presentations.
9. Assist in drafting and distributing internal communications, announcements, and updates.
10. Help maintain internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, newsletters, shared drives).
11. Coordinate logistics for internal meetings, events, and staff engagement activities.
12. Ensure consistency and clarity in messaging across departments.
13. Support the development of communication materials such as slide decks, memos, and talking points.

1. Supports the mission and vision of South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers and demonstrates excellent customer service at all times.
2. Understands and is committed to helping South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers and its associated facilities achieve its goals.
3. Must learn and comply with System and facility safety policies and rules; must use appropriate safety equipment and procedures at all times; must immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors; must be familiar with all safety features of equipment, tools or materials encompassed by job duties; and must check with supervisors (prior to job performance) if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.
4. Adheres to the STRIC Code of Conduct and demonstrates ethical behavior as expected by our patients, colleagues and the community. Understands the personal obligation to report any activity that appears to violate applicable laws, rules and regulations or the Code of Conduct itself.
5. Completes other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School graduate (GED) required with a minimum of two (2) years of experience
Experience may be substituted for education. Five (5) years of administrative experience.

Professional interpretation and interventional procedures are provided by South Texas Radiology Group, P.A. (STRG). With over 70 Board-Certified Radiologists, some with sub-specialization in fields such as neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, body, cardiac, breast and interventional radiology, STRG has experience and a reputation that spans more than fifty years.
Highly qualified and experienced registered technologists perform medically responsible imaging exams using some of the latest imaging technology available. South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers is one of the largest outpatient diagnostic imaging providers in San Antonio.
