You'll propose new test methods, contribute to industry standards, and have opportunities to represent UL at industry events. Plus, you'll integrate continuous improvement practices into your daily work and drive innovation in safety.

    Customer Collaboration:

+ Evaluate fire alarm control panels and communicate project status, issues, and results.

+ Address and resolve client concerns, promoting UL services.

    Project Management:

+ Conduct and witness tests, coordinate administrative tasks, and prepare reports.

+ Serve as Project Handler or Reviewer when assigned.

    Technical Support & Compliance:

+ Provide technical assistance on inspections and follow-up services.

+ Establish test programs, resolve engineering issues, and notify clients of compliance concerns.

+ Develop special test methods and propose new/revised UL requirements.

    Continuous Improvement:

+ Integrate improvement practices and support lab and field staff.

+ Represent UL at industry events and maintain UL Code of Conduct standards.

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

+ Experience: 5-10 years working with commercial fire alarm systems; product certification experience is a plus.

+ Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.

+ Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

    What we offer:

+ Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.
