    Grind and cut tubes for front pump seal parts per customer specifications with a cellular manufacturing operation.

     

    + Operator processes rubber tubes by procuring tubes from staging area, setting up grinding machines, selecting proper size mandrels, and mounts of grinders.

    + Set up grinders

    + Operates multiple grinding machines process tubes to specific dimensions.

    + Removes mandrels from grinders, dismounts tubes from mandrels at completion of operations

    + Visually inspects tubes per standards

    + Prepares tubes for cutting operation by mounting on proper mandrels, paint/strip tubes as required, setting up chisel cutters, placing tubes in cutters and processing to specific dimensions

    + Utilize SPC techniques as part of the QAS system

    + Operator performs dimensional checks on the shadow graph

    + Troubleshoots, adjusts equipment, cleans and maintains equipment

    + This position starts at $21.45 and is eligible to reach top pay by step progression increases

    Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screening as a condition of employment

    Computer skills

     

    High school diploma or equivalent working experience
