Our client, a research and laboratory services provider, is seeking a CPD&D Laboratory Assistant to join their team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be part of the Laboratory Operations department supporting laboratory and greenhouse teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a motivated work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** CPD&D Laboratory Assistant

**Pay Range:** $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

What’s the Job?

+ Prepare media for research purposes and operate basic lab equipment

+ Assist with plant material handling, including tagging, inoculating, and harvesting

+ Safely handle chemicals and properly use PPE including PAPR respirators

+ Maintain cleanliness and order in laboratory and greenhouse environments

+ Support routine lab tasks including sterilizing equipment and preparing test setups

What’s Needed?

+ Experience with aseptic technique is essential

+ Background in Biology or Plant Pathology preferred

+ Strong work ethic and motivation with good attendance

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Willingness and ability to wear PAPR respirators and pass OSHA Respirator Medical Evaluation
