Vice President of Operations Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm

A Day in the Life of a Vice President of Operations:

As a Vice President of Programs and Services you will oversee Arc Wayne's operational strategies and processes, ensuring alignment with overall mission and vision.

+ Develops and implements operational strategies, in collaboration with senior executive team, to achieve agency objectives.

+ Oversees day to day activities, optimizing processes and ensuring quality service delivery.

+ Manages and guides various departments, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities for staff.

+ Oversees the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of assigned staff. Provides oversight of employment recommendations to include disciplinary action, re-assignments, and separations.

+ Oversees operational budgets, monitoring expenses and revenue. Intervenes as necessary to make adjustments while meeting budgeted benchmarks.

+ Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and policies, identifying and mitigating operational risks.

+ Ensures effective communication and collaboration between all departments.

Who We Are Looking For:

+ Master's Degree and three years' experience in managing and motivating teams.

+ Bachelor's degree and five years' experience in managing and motivating teams.

+ Outstanding oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Extremely well organized, detail oriented and able to meet frequent and changing deadlines.

+ Technical Proficiency. Familiarity with operational management software and tools.

+ Ability to travel as needed to support Agency needs.

+ Must possess a current, valid New York State driver's license that meets the Agency driver standards.
