    Basic Job Functions:

    Nucor Warehouse Systems is hiring for an experienced Senior Accountant. This position is designed to develop the candidate into the next leader at Nucor so a successful candidate will have a desire to pursue advancement within the organization. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    Manages inventory financial records, ensuring accurate valuation, proper control,reconciliations, and compliance with company policiesLead sales and income tax compliance and assist with payroll tax as neededAssist with driving organizational efficiencies in a complex, multi-location environmentAssist with risk management duties relating to contracts, insurance, credit, and vendormanagementDriving continuous cost improvements across all aspects of the businessReview financial statements for accuracy and legal complianceHelp lead closing procedures for monthly, quarterly, and annual requirementsPerforms other duties as assigned and needed by the Accounting Department

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field5-8 years of Accounting experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365CPA, CMA, or MAccPrior experience with Sales Tax reporting and regulationsPrior experience with Inventory
