    Position Summary:

    Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, International Enrollment Support Services - Boca Raton, FL.

    Summary of Responsibilities:

    + Process international student applications received through FAU’s recruitment provider, Study Group (SG). Serve as a point of contact for admission and enrollment of international students seeking admission to FAU through SG.

    + Gather, enter, or extract data and/or documents from various databases, spreadsheets, and information systems to coordinate the admission and onboarding of SG students.

    + Generate reports and analyze data related to international student enrollment, including all international student populations, to support departmental planning and assessment activities.

    + Support other international recruitment and enrollment initiatives within the scope of the Center for Global Engagement. Assist with international recruitment initiatives that involve the CGE (EducationUSA, international articulations, or sponsored student recruitment).

    + Handle high-volume, time-sensitive caseloads; prioritize activities and meet tight deadlines.

    + Develop and maintain general knowledge of foreign academic credentialing and grading scale equivalencies; ensure alignment of admission policies and standards with FAU standards and practices.

    + Oversee the onboarding of SG admitted students, including but not limited to coordinating orientation activities, collecting official transcripts, and assisting with immunizations, insurance, student account, OWL card, etc.

    + Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO); review financial documents and issue I-20s for SG applicants; monitor activity such as SEVIS payments, visa issuance, and U.S. arrivals; assist with SEVIS registration.

    + Work on special projects and initiatives to support international student recruitment and enrollment efforts.

    + Engage in cross-training to support other CGE priorities.

    + Participate in other CGE events. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience required.

    Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

    Knowledge of international admissions processes, academic credential evaluation, and experience as a Designated School Official.

     

    Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive caseloads, and proficiency with student information systems (e.g., Banner, Slate, Sunapsis, or similar).

     

    Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

    Salary:

    $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year.
