Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead and oversee financial operations in Denton, Texas. This role is integral to managing accounting processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the finance function.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to the accounting team by setting goals, offering coaching, and fostering growth.

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, assigning clear roles and ensuring accountability.

• Manage and enhance the financial close process to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

• Conduct in-depth cost analyses and inventory evaluations to support production cost savings and inform sales strategies.

• Champion process improvements, driving innovation and efficiency while adhering to tax regulations, audit standards, and company policies.

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with stakeholders to analyze performance and set financial goals.

• Develop and implement comprehensive training materials to ensure seamless knowledge transfer among team members. Requirements • Proven experience in financial leadership roles, including managing accounting teams.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.

• Expertise in regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards.

• Exceptional skills in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

• Ability to lead and execute process improvement initiatives.

• Proficiency in developing training materials and mentoring team members.

• Advanced knowledge of document control and management systems.

• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
