    Description

    We are currently seeking plant operator to support one of our landfill gas sites in Orlando. This person will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks, mainly servicing controls panels and electrical systems for compressors onsite supporting landfill gas. This position will require overall maintenance, operation and cleaning of plant control facility. Work will include and not limited to: compressor maintenance, maintenance during outages, minor repairs, lawn maintenance around facility, and servicing control systems. Pay is flexible based on experience.

     

    Will need to be able to work within both climate-controlled, and non climate-controlled environments throughout the day.

     

    Skills

     

    Electrical and mechanical maintenance, computer savvy, and able to handle outage calls (either virtually or in person.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    -Must be electrically inclined and have a technical experience.

     

    -Reliable / On time & dependable

     

    -Previous work in a power plant, utility, environmental waste water facility or similar environment

     

    -Ability to pass MVR

     

    -40-HR HAZWOPER not required, but is a plus.

     

    -2+ years of experience working in an electrical and mechanical maintenance environment

    Work Schedule:

    Landfill Gas Plant control facility (part climate controlled, part is not climate controlled). Monday-Friday 40+ hours, dayshift. Will need to be available to handle calls during outages caused by storms, etc.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
