    Job Title: Production Manager

    Job Description

    Join a leader in autonomous drone systems and oversee the manufacturing operations of cutting-edge sUAS solutions. You will ensure efficient production processes, maintain quality standards, and coordinate with suppliers and partners across multiple locations. This role requires a strong background in electromechanical manufacturing, ideally within the aerospace or electronics sectors. Frequent travel to supplier sites, production facilities, and client locations is expected.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure timely and quality production of drone systems.

    + Develop and implement production schedules, resource plans, and workflow optimizations.

    + Coordinate with engineering managers, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to align production goals.

    + Support design updates, engineering changes, and documentation with experience in SolidWorks.

    + Ensure compliance and monitor regulatory standards across production activities.

    + Travel 50% of the time for supplier audits, production line setup, quality inspections, and client meetings.

    + Manage production budgets, inventory levels, and cost-saving initiatives.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, manufacturing engineering, and process improvement.

    + Proficiency in project management, design, mechanical design, and supply chain management.

    + Expertise in design for manufacturing, engineering change management, and process engineering.

    + Solid experience with electromechanical systems and SolidWorks.

    + US Citizenship.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Direct experience managing sUAS/drone production or complex electromechanical systems.

    + Experience coordinating with suppliers and contract manufacturers to meet delivery timelines.

    + Familiarity with DOD or government UAS programs is a strong plus.

    + Experience in sUAS design, development, and manufacturing sold to customers.

    + Knowledge of drone motors, ESCs, propellers, controllers, and adjustments.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with 50% of the time spent on-site at the headquarters in Baltimore County, MD, and 50% traveling to contract manufacturing locations. The role involves working in an office setting and requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    This position is based out of Sparks, Maryland.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
