Pharmacy Clerk – (Onsite | $23.50/hr)

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Clerk in our Central Fill Pharmacy, you’ll play a key role in ensuring patients receive their prescriptions quickly, accurately, and securely. This is a hands-on, production-based role that requires focus, consistency, and teamwork. Whether you’re packaging prescriptions, auditing processes, or restocking supplies, you’ll be making an impact every day.

**Location** : West Sacramento, CA

**Pay Rate:** $21-$23.50/hr(based on experience, education, and location)

Schedule:

Monday - Friday Schedule. Candidate to be prepared for schedule change after 4 weeks depending on business needs and then the shift would shift to our Sunday-Thursday shift. Sunday are 8AM-4:30 and the rest of the week remains at 1:30-10PM

What You’ll Do

• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipping, while handling HIPAA-sensitive information with care.

• Sort prescriptions using handheld scanners by scanning barcodes and confirming bin locations.

• Perform audits of bins and totes, ensuring counts match system records and addressing discrepancies.

• Maintain chain of custody (COC) by recording and verifying tote counts with pickup drivers.

• Support workflow through restocking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, organized environment.

• Read and analyze application screens/pop-ups to follow standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ year experience in warehouse, retail, or customer service (preferred but not required)

Basic computer skills and ability to follow oral/written instructions

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately

Team player with effective communication skills

Ability to work under time pressures and switch tasks efficiently

Knowledge of HIPAA laws (training provided if not familiar)

Physical Requirements:

• Large-scale pharmacy/warehouse production environment

• Occasional exposure to refrigerated areas

• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs occasionally, with frequent standing, walking, stooping, and reaching

• Use of pallet jacks, dollies, ladders, and scanning units

**Pay Details:** $22.00 to $23.50 per hour
