This company manufactures complex machines critical to the production of integrated circuits and microchips.
We’re seeking a hands-on Production Engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering
and 0–2 years of experience to support high-tech manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working cross-functionally, and being close to the product.
Schedule: Compressed Work Week (CWW) – Choose between:
+ CWW D1: Sunday–Tuesday + every other Wednesday, 6am–6pm
+ CWW D2: Thursday–Saturday + every other Wednesday, 6am–6pm
Key Responsibilities
+ Spend ~75% of time in the cleanroom supporting production and resolving engineering issues
+ Troubleshoot mechanical assembly, glass-to-metal bonding, flow/thermal issues, and test stand/tooling problems
+ Develop and implement OCAPs, Fishbone diagrams, and troubleshooting guides
+ Evaluate failed parts and propose solutions
+ Support diagnostics qualification and implementation
+ Contribute to manufacturing procedures and technical documentation
+ Participate in design reviews and root cause analysis (DOA)
+ Support PFMEA and lean manufacturing initiatives
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
+ 0–2 years of engineering experience, ideally in a production or manufacturing setting
+ Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, tooling, and epoxy application
+ Ability to read optical, mechanical, and electrical drawings
+ Willingness to work in a cleanroom and provide occasional weekend coverage
Preferred Skills
+ Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python
+ Familiarity with epoxy dispensing and curing processes
+ Exposure to opto-mechanical designs and electro-optical devices
+ Knowledge of geometric/wave optics and aberration theory
+ Experience with NX, Teamcenter, SAP
+ Experience in Lean Manufacturing and quality methodologies (SPC, FMEA)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
