Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our client's team in Westfield, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will support key financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and proficiency in QuickBooks to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable processes, including processing and verifying invoices for accuracy.

• Oversee accounts receivable functions, such as tracking incoming payments and maintaining accurate records.

• Perform data entry tasks to ensure financial information is updated in a timely and accurate manner.

• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and reconcile financial records.

• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.

• Assist in generating financial reports and summaries for management review.

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for auditing purposes.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.

• Support administrative tasks related to accounting, such as filing and recordkeeping.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and financial record management.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
