    Description We are looking for a dedicated Order Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Rockleigh, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer orders while collaborating with various departments to meet client specifications. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and process customer orders, including those requiring special handling or expedited prioritization.

    • Complete the sales order lifecycle from initial entry to invoicing, ensuring accuracy at every step.

    • Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Support, Finance, and Shipping to align order processing with customer requirements.

    • Analyze and create sales reports, monitoring pending orders and initiating timely follow-ups.

    • Update and modify orders as needed, ensuring all changes are accurately implemented.

    • Work closely with shipping and order administration teams to expedite priority shipments.

    • Utilize technical knowledge and product familiarity to address order-related inquiries effectively.

    • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall order processing workflow. Requirements • High school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in order entry, with customer support experience considered a plus.

    • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel, including creating reports and pivot tables.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and virtual conferencing tools such as Teams or Zoom.

    • Strong understanding of how order processing impacts other company departments and operations.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across multiple teams and resolve inquiries.

    • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
