    Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician

    Job Description

    This is a non-exempt position where hours worked over 40 will be compensated at time and a half. The role involves maintaining and operating drug manufacturing equipment, accurately weighing raw materials and active ingredients, and blending them. The technician is responsible for keeping the equipment and facility clean and in good repair. Participation in work order completion, including batch record documentation according to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), is essential. The position requires completing documentation accurately with minimal errors and timely completion of cGMP and safety training. The technician should be able to work independently or as part of a team and follow procedures precisely.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and operate drug manufacturing equipment.

    + Weigh raw materials and active ingredients accurately and blend them.

    + Ensure equipment and facility cleanliness and maintenance.

    + Complete work orders and batch record documentation per cGMP.

    + Follow and complete documentation accurately with minimal errors.

    + Complete cGMP and safety training in a timely manner.

    + Work independently or as part of a team and follow procedures exactly.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma (HSD) or GED equivalent.

    + Ability to follow procedures precisely.

    + Proficiency in mixing, batch mixing, and chemical compounding.

    This is a Contract position based out of Des Plaines, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.40 - $22.40/hr.
