Job Description

The role involves working within the Digital Department, operating a machine to ensure efficient production processes. The individual will be responsible for setting up the machine, monitoring its operation, and performing light lifting up to 20 lbs as needed. The job requires basic computer skills to enter orders and manage simple tasks such as opening files and emails. The position involves mostly standing and overseeing machine operations, with assistance available from an onsite technician.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate digital printing machines.

+ Monitor machines to ensure they run correctly and efficiently.

+ Load paper rolls into the machine without lifting, using a rolling technique.

+ Enter orders into the computer system and oversee production.

+ Count and stack products as they come off the machine.

+ Perform light lifting up to 20 lbs.

+ Stand and supervise machine operations throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to operate a computer for basic tasks such as opening PDF files and emails.

+ Capability to count to ten accurately.

+ At least one year of continuous employment with a single company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in printing, including Press, Digital, or Flexo, is advantageous.

+ Strong references regarding attendance in previous roles.

Work Environment

The production facility is large, well-lit, and kept in pristine condition to accommodate client tours. The environment is air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter, with humidity control to maintain product quality. The work setting is loud due to multiple machines running simultaneously. The dress code requires safety precautions, including tied-back long hair, no dangling jewelry, and closed-toed shoes. Clothing should be free from profanity to maintain a professional atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartland, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
