    Job Title: Multi-craft Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking multiple skilled Multi-craft Maintenance Technicians responsible for diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance. The role involves changing out motors, repairing and replacing gearboxes, pumps, belts, bearings, and following a preventative maintenance schedule. Technicians will also work with hydraulics, pneumatics, wires, and cabling, requiring the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for equipment malfunctions.

    + Conduct repair and preventative maintenance tasks.

    + Change out motors, repair and replace gearboxes, pumps, belts, and bearings.

    + Follow a detailed preventative maintenance schedule.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, wires, and cabling.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong electrical skills, including AC/DC, VFD, and 480 volts.

    + Proficient in troubleshooting and repair.

    + Experience with preventive maintenance.

    + Ability to use multimeters and other diagnostic tools.

    + Familiarity with Siemens systems and SAP software.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with voltage systems, wiring, and electrical maintenance.

    + Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + 4 openings available, highly electrical focus required.

    Work Environment

     

    Technicians will work in a facility that processes recycled raw materials into finished products like plastic pellets and chips. The environment is not climate controlled, so experience in similar settings is beneficial. Night shifts are available from 7 PM to 7 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule, with initial training on days Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, excluding Tuesday, which is a maintenance day.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, Alabama.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
