    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated forklift operators on a 5pm-5am shift, who may potentially train on the first shift for two weeks. The main responsibilities include ensuring the production floor is stocked with materials from the warehouse and transporting finished products back to the warehouse for shipment. Operators will be working with a double fork forklift.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a double fork forklift to transport materials.

    + Keep the production floor stocked with necessary materials.

    + Transport finished products from the production floor to the warehouse.

    + Ensure safe and efficient forklift operations.

    + Adhere to quality standards and line processes.

    + Maintain a high level of organization and quality in operations.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of forklift driving experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Proficient in forklift operation, specifically sit-down forklifts.

    + Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Ability to safely operate equipment with a strong understanding of equipment needs and modifications.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be qualified in visual, auditory, physical, and mental abilities to safely operate equipment.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members.

    + Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

    + Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

    + Flexibility to work any shift and weekends, with potential mandatory overtime.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a plant environment, where employees will be exposed to light lifting and warehouse forklift traffic. The production noise level is frequently loud, requiring operators to remain vigilant and safety-conscious.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
