    Job Title: Shipper

    Job Description

    As a Shipper, you will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, responsible for scheduling and managing shipping and freight activities. You will create detailed shipping documentation and utilize shipping programs to efficiently locate and gather stock. Your role will involve packing and unpacking orders according to schedule, updating spreadsheets and stock information, and creating shipping labels. You will also handle shipping information, assist with shipping routes, manage delayed items, and expedite rush orders. Strong communication skills are essential as you will work closely with warehouse workers and managers to ensure organized and accurate shipping records.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and schedule shipping and freight operations.

    + Create detailed shipping documentation.

    + Utilize shipping programs to locate and gather stock.

    + Pack and unpack orders as per schedule.

    + Update spreadsheets and stock information.

    + Create shipping labels and handle shipping information.

    + Assist with shipping routes, delayed items, and rush orders.

    + Maintain organized shipping records including origin, costs, and receipts.

    + Collaborate with the shipping team for accuracy and timely deliveries.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inventory, shipping, and receiving.

    + Proficiency in inventory control and cycle counts.

    + Skills in material handling and shipping organization.

    + Competence in using packing and RF scanners.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong communication skills with the ability to read/write emails.

    + Strong computer skills.

    + Basic math proficiency.

    + Problem-solving abilities.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled warehouse, Monday through Friday from 7 am - 4 pm.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Havana, Florida.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
