Job Title: Weekend Shift - Brake Press Operator

Job Description

Join a precision metal fabrication company serving industries such as Aerospace, Medical, Appliance, Defense Contracting, and more. We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to set up and operate Brake Press and Robotic Press machines, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate Brake Press and Robotic Press machines.

+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines.

+ Utilize micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.

+ Work from blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance.

+ Interpret data from CMM and manual measurements to make necessary machining adjustments.

+ Lift up to 25 pounds, with equipment available for heavier items.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1 year of experience running a Brake Press.

+ Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.

+ Experience with machine operation, setup, and programming.

+ Knowledge of press brake, punch press, and robotic operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in fabrication and use of tape measures.

+ Ability to work off blueprints and interpret CMM data.

+ Understanding of dimensional and visual compliance requirements.

Work Environment

The role is for a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 2:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Optional overtime is available in our climate-controlled and organized shop. Off-shift premiums apply, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Growing rapidly and sales are through the roof: 50M in sales and working towards 80M

Bonuses below. If it's under $500 - it gets paid at 60 days. If over, gets paid at 6 months and a year.
