    Immediate Hiring For a Production Worker – Tacoma, WA

     

    Join a building products wholesaler in Tacoma, WA, as a Door Shop–Production Worker. This contract-to-hire role offers hands-on experience in door finishing and production, with opportunities for advancement.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lift and stage 100–130 doors daily (60–80 lbs each).

    + Operate forklifts and use hand/power tools.

    + Collaborate with team members to build and prepare products.

    + Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.

    + Prepare finished orders for shipment.

    Required Skills

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

    + Proficiency in English and reading tape measures.

    + Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 1+ year experience with hand/power tools.

    + Military and stable work history.

    + Ability to read diagrams and perform basic math operations.

    Work Environment

    + Clean but noisy shop floor.

    + Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift.

    + Steel-toed boots required.

    + No overtime for temp workers; direct hires may get ~5 hours/week.

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
