Job Description

The role involves working inside trailers designed for major delivery companies. You will assist the main maintenance technician with tasks such as bending conduit, running wire, and using basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

+ Assist the main maintenance technician with various tasks.

+ Bend conduit using a crowbar and pipe bender.

+ Run wire and perform electrical tasks as directed.

+ Use basic hand tools and power tools, including an impact drill and a small handheld saw.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with basic hand tools.

+ Familiarity with power tools.

+ Ability to learn conduit bending and electrical wiring tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in carpentry or construction is beneficial but not required.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in a small shop where shorts are acceptable and steel-toed shoes are not required. Although indoors, the shop has large bay doors that remain open, creating a cooler environment. Most work will be done under a roof, but occasional outdoor tasks may be necessary. Tools and safety glasses are provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windber, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
