Forklift Operator – Shipping Associate

**Location:** Tamarac, FL

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (OT as needed)

**Job Type:** Contract-to-Hire

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our shipping team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help ensure products are accurately packed, staged, and loaded for delivery. Responsibilities

+ Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse

+ Load and unload trucks and containers using pallet jacks and other equipment

+ Pack, label, and prepare shipments for delivery

+ Verify and stage materials for full truckload and LTL shipments

+ Perform light assembly and pick parts for customer orders

+ Close production work orders and maintain accurate records

+ Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized workspace

+ Support team goals and take on additional tasks as needed

Requirements

+ 1+ year of forklift experience

+ 1–2 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing setting. You’ll be on your feet for most of the day and required to wear PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats. Loose clothing and jewelry are not permitted for safety reasons.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
