Aerotek: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators for both day and night shifts. This role involves operating machinery in a plastic manufacturing facility, contributing to the production of high-quality, environmentally sustainable outdoor living and home exterior products.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload parts or products onto pallets.

+ Prepare parts and products for cutting to appropriate measurements.

+ Prepare parts and products to be shipped for powder coating.

+ Ensure quality standards and processes are maintained throughout the facility.

+ Meet production deadlines and goals.

+ Report production issues or problems to the immediate supervisor.

+ Operate and maintain machinery.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation and general labor within a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Proficiency in using a tape measure and troubleshooting machinery.

+ Knowledge of CNC and mechanical production processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with production and manufacturing processes.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Work Environment

Work in a plastic manufacturing setting that is not temperature-controlled, with two separate buildings within 5 miles supporting different business units. Enjoy a work environment that is not particularly fast-paced and does not involve heavy lifting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
