    Position Summary

    CVS Health is recruiting for an Executive Director, Retail Health Engineering. As part of the healthcare delivery business, The Executive Director – Retail Health Engineering, is ultimately accountable for driving the technology roadmap and building product domain teams & services that expose data and business logic required to meet the needs of our Minute Clinic healthcare delivery needs. These cloud hosted services will be consumed by partner teams across the CVS enterprise to serve up the CVS Super App experience to our consumers / patients as well as augmenting clinical workflows that our network of Minute clinic acute and primary care providers depend on within our Enterprise EMR, Epic.

    Major Responsibilities include:

    + Leads a team of technology professionals including principal engineers, engineering managers to transform and modernize the Retail.io platform, develop microservice architecture to publish and respond to events, orchestrate across events, and stream data.

    + Using design patterns and principles, create strong interface contracts and data access layers to decouple systems of engagement from systems of record.

    + Works closely with other Engineering leaders in healthcare delivery to develop an API based integration strategy with the rest of the CVS Health Digital experience.

    + The role works closely with SVP and VP leaders, including product management and engineering teams across Digital, enterprise analytics • Travel to meet business needs.

    Required Qualifications

    + 12+ years of related experience, including leading teams of technology professionals.

    Education

    Bachelor's Degree

     

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $175,100.00 - $334,750.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
