    Overview

     

    We are seeking an experienced **Release Train Engineer (RTE)** to oversee and facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) activities across multiple Agile teams. The RTE will coordinate and align teams, ensure continuous improvement, and help deliver value on-time and within scope.

    Contributions

    + Organize and lead PI planning sessions, ensuring all teams are aligned on objectives and milestones

    + Collaborate with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and team leads to ensure alignment, resolve bottlenecks, and facilitate dependencies between teams

    + Identify, communicate, and remove obstacles that hinder ART progress, escalating issues when necessary

    + Conduct retrospectives, gather feedback, and implement changes to improve team effectiveness and quality

    + Track and report on program progress, key performance indicators, and delivery timelines to stakeholders

    + Work with business leaders and product owners to ensure ART objectives align with broader organizational goals

    + Coordinate backlog refinement prior to PI Planning event; coach Product Owners

    + Manage PI execution, being responsible for Coach Sync events, and Product Owner Sync events

    + Maintain and manage the Planning Board to minimize dependency risk

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field

    + 5+ years of experience in a program management or Agile coaching role, with 2+ years specifically as an RTE or in a SAFe environment

    + Proven experience in managing large-scale Agile projects, ideally SAFe

    + Ability to address complex challenges, remove impediments, and support high-quality delivery

    + Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA) and familiar with KPIs and metrics tracking

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels

    + Proven ability to work cross-functionally and foster collaboration

    + SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification preferred

    + Additional SAFe certifications preferred
