• Cost Accountant

    Aston Carter (Ellettsville, IN)


    Key Responsibilities

    + Project Costing & Analysis

    + Develop and maintain detailed cost models for infrastructure projects

    + Track actual costs vs. budgeted costs and analyze variances

    + Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to validate cost inputs

    + Budgeting & Forecasting

    + Lead annual and quarterly budgeting cycles for infrastructure initiatives

    + Prepare rolling forecasts and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions

    + Monitor capital expenditures and ensure alignment with financial targets

    + Variance Analysis & Reporting

    + Perform monthly variance analysis and present insights to leadership

    + Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions

    + Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders

    + Process Improvement & Compliance

    + Enhance cost accounting processes and systems for scalability and accuracy

    + Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and telecom industry standards

    + Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)

    + Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience, ideally within telecom or infrastructure-heavy industries

    + Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel

    + Solid understanding of capital project accounting, fixed asset management, and financial modeling

    + Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

     

    401K Match and yearly bonuses to salary.

    This is a fully onsite position in Ellettsville,IN.
