    Job Summary

    Dayton Parts is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to oversee day-to-day pricing administration operations while providing cross-functional support to initiate and execute pricing strategies around maximizing sales and profitability. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be onsite 3 days per week.

    Primary Duties

    + Daily oversight of Dayton pricing administration in a high demand, fast-paced setting

    + Drive appropriate price and discount offerings across and between all customer distribution channels

    + Administer competitive pricing intelligence management process across the organization

    + Liaison to Sales and Product organizations for quote construction and competitive threat analysis

    + Support ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and enforcement of Dorman’s Brand Protection Policy

    + Produce monthly reporting packages around profitability, elasticity, and price change flowthrough

    + Support all functional areas with general pricing requests as needed

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Must be highly proficient in MS Office products, particularly MS Excel

    + Ability to lead contributors by example with clear expectations and an empowering approach

    + Naturally curious, highly analytical, and interested in using data to drive decisions

    + Ability to synthesize information into key messages for appropriate audiences

    + Professional and personable attitude with a strong desire to support the business

    + Effective written and verbal communication with ability to develop strong cross-functional partnerships

    + Organized, energetic, accurate and detail oriented

    + Works well in a team environment

     

    Education / Experience

     

    + Five or more years of B2B industry experience in pricing, finance, business analytics, or category management is preferred

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in business; MBA a plus
