    The **Principal Program Planning Schedule Analyst** will be responsible for establishing and employing appropriate tools and processes that support the successful creation and implementation of Program Controls, including preparing, developing, and baselining the integrated schedule to meet all program objectives. The individual will assist in Work Breakdown Structure development for Earned Value Management (EVMS) requirements.

     

    This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK and does not provide relocation.

    Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule in Microsoft Project, utilizing advanced functionalities such as resource leveling and baseline management

    + Coordinates with business management and project management staff to develop an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program

    + Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups, including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality

    + Uses Microsoft Project software to plan and gauge progress against the plan. Identifies performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas with the technical (engineering and operations) leads

    + Works with the program team to develop courses of action and risk mitigation strategies to address performance issues

    + Performs thorough project analysis through metrics reviews and predictive analysis to enhance cost, schedule, and technical performance

    + Performs Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and works with the program manager to identify, mitigate, and manage schedule risk, address critical path issues, and resolve network logic conflicts

    + Analyzes actual versus planned program performance in the schedule at least weekly to ensure program requirements are being met, identifying potential scheduling threats and opportunities for successful program execution, and presenting findings and overall program analysis to the program manager during schedule review meetings

    + Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, EVMS, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to focus on critical areas

    + Coordinates with the program manager on financial reports, quarterly Estimate at Completion (EACs), and all EVMS requirements

    + Engages in proactive risk management by identifying potential scheduling threats and developing and communicating mitigation strategies

    + Able to travel up to 10% of the time

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Must either have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience or a PhD with 1 year of experience. Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement

    + Experience creating and maintaining an integrated master schedule in Microsoft Project, with specific examples of projects demonstrating scheduling expertise

    + Experience with EVMS guidelines and processes

    + Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Active Secret Security Clearance

    + Experience scheduling within the Aerospace and Defense Industry

    + Experience in a manufacturing/production environment

    + Experience with Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment tools

     

    Primary Level Salary Range: $82,100.00 - $123,100.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
