    Purpose: We are seeking an **Associate** **Director, Professional Education – Interdisciplinary Care** who will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive medical education strategy for interdisciplinary non-implanting providers (including Heart Failure, Critical Care, APPs, and Hospital and IDN Administrators). This includes the development and implementation of a training program and pathways to support Physician Program Directors and non-implanting Heart Recovery product portfolio providers. This individual will be responsible for creating and managing comprehensive educational activities targeted at interdisciplinary specialists. This leader will play a pivotal role in enhancing product understanding, procedural knowledge, and best practices associated with the Heart Recovery portfolio of products. Additionally, they will build a team and be responsible for running successful end-to-end education programming and developing measurement tools to assess impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategy & Insights:

    + Develop strategy with customized educational content and presentations for hospital administrators, procurement teams, and value analysis committees including educational offerings such as courses and other peer-to-peer initiatives, across multiple specialties including administration, heart failure, critical care, transportation teams, heart teams and other providers involved in the care of Heart Recovery patients.

    + Oversee the implementation of educational activities, including workshops, training sessions, webinars, and symposia, both in-person and virtually, tailored to different roles within the healthcare system focused on product use, health economics, workflow integration and compliance.

    + Develop and implement key performance indicators and mechanisms for evaluating the effectiveness and impact of educational programs, utilizing metrics such as participant feedback, knowledge assessments, and performance outcomes.

    People Leadership & Development:

    + Recruit, lead, coach and mentor a team of Professional Education Managers promoting accountability, collaboration, and growth.

    + Create clear development plans and provide regular performance feedback, recognition, and career guidance.

    + Foster a culture of inclusion, psychological safety, and continuous improvement

    + Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and employee engagement initiatives to drive morale and alignment.

    + Lead hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives to ensure team readiness and cohesion.

    HCP Engagement:

    + Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, and institutions to foster partnerships and enhance program credibility.

    + Engage with healthcare professionals to understand their educational needs and gather feedback from hospital stakeholders for continuous program improvement.

    + Stay current on industry trends, hospital administration priorities, reimbursement changes, and regulatory developments to inform training strategies. Translate complex clinical and technical product information into clear, operationally relevant education for non-clinical stakeholders.

    + Partner with faculty and manage relationships; collaborate with Product Marketing, Marketing Services, other geography marketing leaders, local sales, and marketing to develop tools, messages, data, programs, systems, services, and behaviors related to programs; update sales leadership on existing and future programs.

    + Maintain strong partnership with Medical Affairs field team, Global Strategic Marketing, US Commercial Marketing, PPD and Commercial team, for provider engagement and field insights and market development execution.

    Compliance & governance:

    + Ensure all activities adhere to the highest standards of integrity and comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards, maintaining full compliance with governing bodies.

    + Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including but not limited to accreditation standards, industry codes of conduct.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business or a related field **required** , Master’s degree (MBA) **_preferred_** .

    + Minimum 5 years of clinical and/or training experience in Cardiovascular, MCS, healthcare administration education, preferred or equivalent sales and/or marketing experience within a medical device or pharmaceutical organization, with more than 2 years’ experience leading a full-service professional education team.

    + Experience in the cardiovascular medical device industry.

    + 3+ years in people leadership with proved track record of success.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    + Established relationships with Key Opinion Leaders. Understanding of hospital administration and operational mechanisms to work cross functionally across an institution.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences, as well as collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Comfort working cross-functionally and adapting messages for various audiences (eg. C-Suite, supply chain, clinical).

    + Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical meetings and events.

    + Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and adapt to evolving market dynamics.

    + Strong understanding of medical devices, MCS procedures, and clinical applications.

    + Ability to travel up to 75%.

     

    The expected base pay range for this position is $137,000.00 to $174,250.00.

     

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

     

    Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

     

    Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

    Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

    + Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

    + Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

    + Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

    + Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

    + Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

    + Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member

    + Caregiver Leave – 10 days

    + Volunteer Leave – 4 days

    + Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours
