    Key Responsibilities:

    + Clinical Support: Conduct all aspects of radiation therapy physics, ensuring high-quality patient care.

    + Equipment Management: Perform calibration, commissioning, and maintenance of radiation therapy equipment.

    + Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality assurance programs for equipment and treatment delivery.

    + Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with NRC and state regulations, as well as ACRO and AAPM guidelines.

    + Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the physics team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

    Facility and Equipment:

    + Varian Linacs: EDGE (New), Trilogy, Varisource HDR

    + GE Lightspeed CT Simulator

    + Software: Aria-EMR, Eclipse-Planning, Rad Calc, RPM motion management system

    Required Qualifications:

    + Education: A Master's or PhD degree in Medical Physics

    + Experience: Five (5) years of clinical experience is required.

    + Certification: American Board of Radiology in Radiation Therapy Physics or Radiological Physics

     

    Must meet qualified expert criteria defined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or State radiation agency.

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

    + American Board of Radiology - Therapeutic Medical Physics

    + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

    + Act 33 with renewal

    + Act 34 with renewal

    + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
