Job Description/Summary/Objectives: UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA seeks multiple Chaplains in Pittsburgh, PA to work in/contribute to life of interfaith team. Provide pastoral care in routine and emergent situations. Share on-call responsibilities with timely off-shift on-call availability. Document visits to patients. Knowledge and understanding of departmental standards and policies. Attend staff meetings and participate in setting goals. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required. Lead Roman Catholic Mass and offer Sacraments as needed. Seek opportunities for continuing education. Offer expertise in leading groups and continuing education. Communicate well in a professional exchange of ideas with staff. Understand consensus building and negotiation. Commitment to patient/family/staff centered pastoral care. Support spiritual care to patients by completing visitation assignments and communicating the services available through the pastoral care department, screening patients', families', and staff's needs, and coordinating with chaplains should a patient/family/staff wish to meet with other staff chaplains.

+ Master's degree, or equivalent, in Pastoral Ministry, Theology, Philosophy, Divinity, or a related field
+ Two (2) years of clergy or related experience
+ Roman Catholic Ordination
+ Some telecommuting permissible, must live within on-call commuting distance.
