Job Description:

Cumberland County Schools is seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a growing team for the upcoming school year. As an OT, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ functional independence and academic success through evaluations, therapy services, and collaboration with educators and families.

Responsibilities:

+ Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans

+ Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals

+ Document services and progress in alignment with the plan of care

+ Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

+ Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

+ Current Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina (or eligible for reciprocity)

+ One (1) year of prior OT experience preferred

+ Compliance with all professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening and health certificate (as required by state or contract)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
