    We are seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to oversee all aspects of production operations. This role requires a balance between day-to-day management and long-term strategic planning to ensure that safety, quality, cost, velocity, and team goals are consistently met. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supervisor teams, driving continuous improvement, maintaining Daily Management Systems and planning for future growth within the heavy equipment manufacturing industry.

    YOUR IMPACT

    + Oversee plant production by observing activity and setting standards to ensure production and quality needs are met.

    + Conduct meetings and discussions pertaining to continuous improvement in responsible areas.

    + Ensure Daily Management System requirements are met (GEMBA/SQW walks).

    + Ensure all safety and quality metrics are maintained and exceeded across production lines.

    + Resolve disagreements with people to improve behavior and promote cooperation.

    + Promote employee engagement.

    + Creates and maintains budgets, approves expenditures, and manage operations keeping within budgets.

    + Direct group leaders and supervisors to foster employee involvement process.

    + Calculate manpower requirements to meet production demands, ensuring the right allocation of resources.

    + Develop and execute plans for overtime and any special projects as required.

    + Work with supervisors to assess their needs, provide guidance, and support their professional development.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field

    + Eight plus years of related work experience

    STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

    + Proven experience balancing day-to-day operations and longer-term planning in a production setting.

    + Strong background in manufacturing operations and Daily Management Systems.

    + Demonstrated leadership in managing large teams across multiple shifts.

    + Experience with manpower planning, safety, and quality control.

    + Ability to develop supervisors and managers through hands-on coaching and mentoring.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both teams and leadership and increase employee engagement.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    + This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in production environments.

    + In the office setting, tasks may require extended computer use, sitting, and attending meetings.

    + Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors, standing, moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), climbing stairs, and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.

    + Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

    Pay Range:

    $102,800.00 - $176,800.00

     

    The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
