The Minnesota Sex Offender Program serves clients who are court ordered to receive sex offense specific treatment via the civil commitment process. Program staff provide comprehensive services including therapy, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming and volunteer services to clients in a therapeutic environment where safety and security are at the forefront of all campus activities.
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as the **Security Program Manager** at **Community Preparation Services (CPS)** in St. Peter, MN.
MSOP- CPS is a less restrictive, unlocked residential setting located outside of the secure perimeter.
In this role, you’ll manage and direct staffing and security process at CPS so that the facility and departmental goals are met while prioritizing the safety of the public and our clients. As the Security Program Manager, you are responsible for continuous development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of the security of the CPS facility.
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet the following qualifications
+ Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a therapeutic, residential treatment, rehabilitative, or correctional setting. Experience must include
+ Oversight of personnel, such as performance management, training/ mentoring new or existing staff.
+ Operational leadership, such as ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and security protocols,
+ Program or policy contribution, such as assisting in the development, implementation or evaluations of programs or services, ensuring compliance with standards and reporting requirements, and monitoring outcomes or recommending improvements to existing practices.
OR
+ Three (3) years of experience involving case management, treatment planning, clinical work, policy implementation, oversight of operations/programs or related **AND** one (1) year of supervisory experience, as listed above, in a therapeutic, residential treatment, rehabilitative, or correctional setting.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Supervisory experience in a secured environment.
+ Experience working with patients/clients with sexual psychopathic personalities, sexually dangerous persons, mentally ill and dangerous, or with developmental disabilities.

Direct Care & Treatment (DCT) healthcare facilities require employees to provide documentation that they are free from tuberculosis (TB) through a blood test prior to employment. DCT does not accept TB skin testing.
