Talent Responsibilities
First level support of the technical task fulfillment in the line; Processes and applicable documentation should be continuously checked for content and feasibility and improved accordingly in the event of deviations Support the production staff and continuously develop them with targeted training and courses Direct interface and close collaboration with Process Engineering and R&D Documentation and realization of Prototypes, pre-series and launch to ensure a smooth New-product introduction Execute product transfers together with the sending-/receiving site Support the assembly operations according to detailed specifications while ensuring quality output and compliance with safety standards Mentor and train assemblers on assembly techniques and processes Conduct routine preventive maintenance on assembly equipment, performing inspections, adjustments, and repairs as needed to maintain equipment functionality Perform setup and changeover of equipment to support production and quality control checks on finished products Assist in promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies from established quality standards caused by equipment or tooling Collaborate closely with the engineering team to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance assembly operations Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency Uphold safety regulations and adhere to company policies during all assembly and maintenance activities including Lockout Tagout procedures Engage in ongoing safety training and foster a safety-conscious culture within the team Maintain the repair shop equipment and hand tools to support maintenance and engineering activities Support the facility manager in regular review of equipment safety interlocks, facility safety equipment and compressed gas storage Support facility manager by obtaining repair quotes from machine supplier, creating purchase order requests for approval, scheduling the repair contractors and managing their on-stie activity

Follows assembly instructions and assembles Huber+Suhner products Utilize approved tools, materials, and equipment provided Identify quality and efficiency improvement opportunities All other relevant duties as assigned
Talent Profile
Education: Degree in technical field or equivalent professional experience
Experience: Minimum 5 years of general work experience, preferably in an assembly or manufacturing environment in similar function or basic education in Mechanical Engineering
Skills/Knowledge: Analytical and systematic way of working and the ability to quickly find your way around problems Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. Sound IT knowledge Technical understanding: sound knowledge of mechanics, electronics and production technologies Knowledge of pneumatics, electro-pneumatics and robotics an advantage Knowledge in Lean5S methodology at least Green Belt Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions in English
Personal Qualifications: Entrepreneurial thinking Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Experienced in problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment Agile in adapting to new challenges and changes Respectful and understanding of diverse cultures Vision acuity as required by the organization's soldering procedures Experienced in the operations power tools, hand tools, drill press, grinder, and measurement caliper. Exposure to the use of a mill and lathe Ability to lift 40lbs Bi-Lingual in Spanish Language is a plus

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the pay range for this role in New Jersey is $26.79 - $32.81 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
