    LSI is looking for candidates to work in the Suwanee Ga area at a manufacturing warehouse as a Cherry Picker driver. This position is a temp to hire with full-time hours and possible overtime!     **Shift Hours:** 1st Shift only

    **Pay Range:** $18

     

    Looking to hire a Cherry Picker Driver to perform various warehouse duties relating to the distribution facility and general warehousing functions.

    Job duties

    + Take direction from supervisors regarding shipping, receiving and storage activities.

    + Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.

    + Assist in shipping / receiving by loading/unloading trucks.

    + Ensure that inventory controls are followed and carried out to ensure quality and accuracy of inventory.

    + Operate Cherry Picker and/or automated machinery to pick / pack / stage / deliver / store product.

    + Assist in counting of physical inventory / cycle counts.

    + Ensure general cleanliness of the warehouse; Organize / Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, staging areas, and work stations neat and orderly; Empty Trash, Sweep and Dust.

    + Follow all Company safety procedures; Wear the proper safety equipment; Perform daily equipment/safety inspections.

    + SHIPPING - Prepare and Complete orders for delivery / pickup by daily schedule.

    + Accurately pick stock items from storage according to Pick Ticket / Supervisor Instructions

    + Pack items according to standards for shipping (box / palletized)

    + Wrap Pallets / Seal Boxes according to standards for shipment

    + Stage shipments in correct area for shipping

    + Label items / shipments with correct labels in accordance to standards / Shipment Instructions / Carrier standards (ie UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, etc)

    + Receiving – Receive, Process and Store warehouse stock products.

    + Ensure that all items are checked for damage or inconsistencies.

    + Make sure that items are labeled properly and consistent with product standards.

    + Ensure appropriate quantity / quality of items received per receiving documents.

    + Report any discrepancies to supervisor.

    + Sort and place materials / items on racks, shelves or in bins according to standards for order processing.

    + Make sure that received items are transferred and stored in appropriate warehouse storage places according to standards.

    Experience/Education

    + High School diploma or Ged

    + Must have Operating knowledge of Cherry Picker and Material Handling equipment preferred.

    + Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

    Experience:

    + warehouse: 2 years (Required)

    + Cherry Pickert: 2 years (Required)
