Job Title:** **Maintenance Technician

Job Description

+ As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and preventive maintenance of baking equipment and conveyor systems

+ You will work with various machinery including mixers, extruders, refrigeration units, proofers, conveyors, boilers, and silos

+ Your duties will include replacing, rotating, inspecting, and changing parts of industrial machines, connecting power to machines, installing motors, and rewiring motors

+ You will also read blueprints and schematics, move machinery using hoists and dollies, perform welding on steel and aluminum materials, run conduit and electrical wiring to new industrial machines, and engage in fabrication tasks using a drill press

Job Responsibilities

+ Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on baking equipment and conveyor systems

+ Work with mixing, extruders, refrigeration, proofer, conveyors, boilers, and silos

+ Replace, rotate, inspect, and change parts of industrial machines

+ Connect power to machines, install motors, and rewire motors

+ Read blueprints and schematics

+ Move machinery and equipment using hoists and dollies

+ Perform welding on steel and aluminum materials

+ Run conduit and electrical wiring to new industrial machines

+ Engage in fabrication using a drill press, cutting out holes, and making parts

Essential Skills

+ Experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of automated equipment

+ Experience with assembly equipment such as conveyors and building industrial equipment

+ Experience in rebuilding 3-phase motors

+ Ability to replace motors, gears, and pumps on industrial machinery

+ Experience in troubleshooting industrial machines and PLCs, including drives

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69264.00 - $72384.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Plymouth,MI.
