    Accounting Analyst / Accounting Clerk

     

    About This Role

     

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst/Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This role offers the opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting while contributing directly to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The successful candidate will play an active role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with established policies, and assisting in the preparation of key financial reporting.

    What You Will Work On

    + Prepare and post routine journal entries with proper supporting documentation.

    + Assist with account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

    + Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules.

    + Maintain organized records to support audits and compliance requirements.

    + Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities.

    + Collaborate with accounting and finance colleagues on process improvements and special projects.

    What You Will Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent coursework/experience).

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.

    + Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems. Must have Oracle, Oracle EBS is highly preferred but not mandatory.

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

    + Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

    + This role is fully remote; however, **_you must reside in California._** There is no relocation assistance. 3-month contract with opportunity to go perm based on workload and performance.

    + Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.

    + Pay Range: $35-$40/hr (DOE)
