    **Compensation:** $25.10/hr

    Principal Accountabilities

    + Performing all aspects of sampling, monitoring, and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process

    + Performing routine and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on all wastewater and groundwater equipment

    + Performing daily/weekly checks of monitoring equipment (samplers, probes, meters, etc.)

    + Performing general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the Environmental Department’s area of operation

    + Backfilling other positions/tasks as needed

    + Completing daily wastewater lab testing and adjusting control inputs to the aeration system

    + Operating the biogas system

    + Entering data in excel spreadsheets and maintaining records

    Required Qualifications

    + Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

    + Must be 18 years or older

    + Ability to read, write, and speak English

    + Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

    + Basic Computer skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Have high school diploma or GED

    + Have valid Texas driver’s license

    + Good attendance record

    + Work weekends on a rotational schedule

    + Lift a minimum of 40 lbs

    + General working knowledge of basic machinery, preventative maintenance, and repair

    + Work effectively in a team environment and also have the ability to take independent action in a timely manner using good judgement with minimum supervision

    + Successful candidate will be required to take wastewater and water classes and obtain both (Wastewater and Water Operator licenses) within ONE YEAR of employment
